Chocomoo, is an illustrator from Japan most known stateside for her work with Pharrell and Nigo of Human Made, and most recently with BMX rider Nigel Sylvester. Her work can be seen all over Japan, on billboards and live installations alike, as well as on cover art for numerous Japanese recording artists. She has been a large part of Vizume history thus far and we’re bringing her back as part of our ongoing 3rd Anniversary celebration!
On Saturday, November 12th we’re hosting another event at Vizume featuring a “Meet & Greet” + LIVE PAINTING by Chocomoo, live dj’s and complimentary refreshments! As a bonus, we’ll also be raffling off a leather jacket illustrated by Chocomoo herself, courtesy of Vizume, valued at over $700. The event begins at 6:30pm and ends 10:00pm (or later).
In addition to being the “finale of our 3rd Anniversary celebration”, we’re opening our doors as an alternative to the hawaii fashion week event happening in November (that we hear so many complaints about). Bring your friends as everyone is invited (we like meeting people), dress up (and we don’t mean collared shirts), leave the “flexing” at the gym (cause everyone there should look dope), and bring your “A” game (whatever that means).
